7. Right of withdrawal (14-day return)

  1. A consumer (a natural person buying goods for purposes not related to their business or profession) has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, as provided by the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
  2. The 14-day period starts from the day on which the Buyer, or a person indicated by the Buyer (other than a carrier), receives the goods.
  3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must notify the Seller by e-mail or by sending another clear statement of their decision to withdraw from the contract.
  4. The Buyer must send or hand over the goods to the Seller no later than 14 days from the date on which they notified the Seller of their decision to withdraw from the contract.

The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods are returned or until the Buyer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods.
  6. The Buyer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

8. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases set out in the Lithuanian Civil Code, including but not limited to:

  • goods made to the Buyer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
  • sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery;
  • digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium, if its supply has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
